Where
Do Home Buyers Get Information?
Home
buyers are big on information. Where did buyers find out about the
homes they bought? Driving around tops the list, followed by Real
Estate Agents. Newspaper classified advertising is the number one
media source for home buyers.

Notice
something missing from this chart? Web sites, of course, such as
this one. Back when this survey was conducted there weren't too
many real estate companies with sites on the Internet. Now that
JB Goodwin and other realtors are entering this arena, we're hoping
that more and more people turn to the Web as their source for comprehensive
real estate information.
*Random
samples of home buyers conducted by Minnesota Opinion Research Inc.
This first-time-ever research was conducted with 1,217 new buyers
of primary residences in six markets across the U.S. -- New Haven,
Conn., Toledo, Ohio, Chattanooga, Tenn., Little Rock, Ark., Las
Vegas, and Sacramento. These six cities were chosen, in part, because
of the availability of homes magazines in each.
